On September 18, we issued our final report on Integrity Threats to Hazardous Liquid Pipelines.
We issued our report on FAA’s HAZMAT Program.
We sent our response to Senator Ron Johnson and Senator Charles E. Grassley regarding their February 27, 2015, request that we provide the status of OIG open audit recommendations.
As required by the Pipeline Inspection, Protection, Enforcement, and Safety Act of 2006, we assessed Department of Transportation (DOT) and Department of Homeland Security (DHS) actions taken to implement a pipeline security annex.
On October 20, we issued our report on DOT’s progress in implementing congressional mandates and other safety recommendations for improving pipeline and hazardous materials safety.
On March 16, the Acting Inspector General testified before the House Subcommittee on Highways, Transit, and Pipelines regarding Pipeline Safety. The testimony focused on the progress and remaining challenges in strengthening pipeline safety.
