On November 15, 2010, we issued our report presenting the results of our annual audit of the Department’s information security program and practices, as required by the Federal Information Security Management Act of 2002 (FISMA).
On April 24, 2009, we issued our report on the audit of the Department of Transportation’s implementation of earned value management (EVM), and the supportability of estimated security costs for major information technology (IT) investments.
On November 14, 2011, we issued a report on the results of our annual audit of DOT’s information security program and practices, as required by the Federal Information Security Management Act of 2002 (FISMA).
The Inspector General testified on computer security challenges in DOT at a hearing before the House Government Reform Subcommittee on Government Efficiency, Financial Management, and Intergovernmental Relations.
We issued an audit report on DOT’s progress in managing its rulemaking process and meeting its deadlines. The audit follows up on our March 2004 report, requested by Representative James L.
On September 9, 2008, we issued a final report on the Review of DOT Privacy Policies and Procedures.
We released our report on the security of the Department's web systems in response to the statutory requirements of the Government Information Security Reform Act.
