California Individual Sentenced for Transporting Explosives Without a License

On October 26, 2022, the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California sentenced Arturo Ceja, III to 5 months of incarceration, 2 years of supervised release, and a $100 special assessment. In August 2021, Ceja pleaded guilty to transporting explosives, specifically flash powder, across State borders without a license.
 
DOT-OIG is conducting this investigation with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives.
