South Florida Student Pilot Pleaded Guilty To Making False Statements to FAA
On July 28, 2022, Cole Allan Peacock pleaded guilty in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida to making false statements to the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). Peacock was indicted in June 2021. Court documents indicate that, in August 2019, Peacock forged an FAA flight instructor's signature authorizing Peacock to be the pilot-in-command on multiple flights, including flights with passengers. Later, Peacock submitted fraudulent records to FAA to register a stolen Learjet 55.
