California Aircraft Parts Manufacturing Company Owner Pleads Guilty to Aircraft Parts Fraud

On June 6, 2022, Aman Khan pleaded guilty in the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California to two counts of aircraft parts fraud. In May 2022, Khan, owner of California Aircraft & Avionics Corporation, was charged via an information. According to the information, Khan made and used a fraudulent Federal Aviation Administration airworthiness tag and certificate of conformance for aircraft parts made by Khan's company.
 
DOT-OIG is conducting this investigation with the Department of Commerce’s Bureau of Industry and Security, Office of Export Enforcement; Defense Criminal Investigative Service; Federal Bureau of Investigation; and National Aeronautics and Space Administration OIG.
