Florida Commercial Pilot Indicted for Falsifying FAA Medical Applications
On June 8, 2021, a grand jury in the Southern District of Florida indicted Charles Hathaway for false statements. The indictment alleges that from 2018 to 2020, on 6 different occasions, Hathaway made a false statement on the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Application for Airman Medical and Student Pilot Certificate. Hathaway, a commercial pilot for an air charter company, falsified the applications by not disclosing multiple convictions of felony offenses.
