Ohio Man Indicted for Flying Without a Valid Airman Certificate
On May 13, 2021, a grand jury in the Northern District of Ohio indicted Delbert G. Stewart for multiple counts of serving as an airman without an airman's certificate. The indictment alleges that between 2019 and 2021, Stewart piloted a single-engine airplane on three occasions without authority to serve in that capacity.
DOT-OIG is conducting this investigation with assistance from FAA.
Note: Indictments, informations, and criminal complaints are only accusations by the Government. All defendants are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty.
