Investigations

On January 21, 2021, a criminal complaint issued by the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia charged FAA employee Kevin Strong with unlawfully accessing restricted buildings and grounds. Strong was arrested on January 22, 2021. The investigation revealed that on January 6, 2021—after a crowd entered the U.S. Capitol by force—Strong was recorded and photographed in the rotunda. Strong also admitted to being in the U.S. Capitol following the breach.
