Tennessee Man Pleaded Guilty and Was Sentenced for Illegally Operating an Aircraft

On November 20, 2020, Richard Sexton pleaded guilty and was sentenced in the State of Tennessee Criminal Court in Rutherford County to 2 years of probation, 100 hours of community service, and a $1000 fine for operating an aircraft without a license.
 
DOT-OIG conducted this investigation with the Tennessee Highway Patrol Criminal Investigation Division with assistance from the Federal Aviation Administration.
