Former FMCSA Safety Investigator Arrested for Theft of Government Property

On September 30, 2019, former FMCSA employee Marcus Mosley was arrested following an earlier indictment for theft of Government property. He allegedly failed to turn over Government-issued equipment when FMCSA terminated his employment in 2015.
 
Mosley was indicted in U.S. District Court, Hammond, Indiana, on September 19, 2019. The indictment alleges that he converted for his own use Agency credentials, port replicators, an answering system, a monitor, an articulating desk, a laptop computer, and printers—all of which belong to DOT.
