FMCSA Suspends Alabama Chiropractor’s Employee for Falsifying DOT Medical Examinations

On April 2, 2019, the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) suspended Andrea Daigle for her role in a scheme to submit falsified DOT-mandated commercial driver’s license (CDL) medical examinations to the Agency. FMCSA issued the notice of suspension after she was indicted on multiple Federal counts of wire fraud, false statements, falsification of records, and conspiracy. Daigle was the office manager for a chiropractor based in Phenix City, Alabama, who also participated in the scheme.
 
DOT-OIG is conducting this investigation with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency, Department of Labor OIG, and FMCSA.
