Alabama Woman Charged With Falsifying DOT Medical Examinations

On December 28, 2018, Andrea Daigle was charged via information in U.S. District Court, Middle District of Alabama, with misprision of a felony for her role in a scheme to submit falsified CDL medical examinations to FMCSA.
 
The information alleged that Daigle knew about the commission of a felony, and she concealed the felony by electronically submitting false medical records to FMCSA detailing physical examinations for persons who did not meet Federal regulatory standards.
 
DOT-OIG is conducting this investigation with assistance from the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency, Department of Labor (DOL) OIG, and FMCSA.
