Investigations

On April 10, 2018, Wayne Ryan of Socorro, New Mexico, was indicted in U.S. District Court, Albuquerque, New Mexico, charged with operating an unregistered aircraft, possession of a firearm, possession of an unregistered firearm, and possession of a firearm without a serial number.

 

The indictment alleged that on July 23, 2017, Ryan unlawfully operated an unregistered aircraft in Socorro County, New Mexico. He was also charged with the unlawful possession of firearms, including a machine gun and silencer, related to an incident that occurred on or about January 20, 2018.

 

DOT-OIG is conducting this investigation with the Federal Bureau of Investigation.
