South Georgia Doctor Pleads Guilty to Conspiracy To Falsify Records

On May 29, 2018, John A. Glenn, Jr., of Eastman, Georgia, pleaded guilty in U.S. District Court, Dublin, Georgia, to one count of conspiracy to falsify records with intent to impede proper administration of DOT.

On March 7, 2018, a Federal grand jury indicted Glenn on multiple charges. Glenn is a medical doctor who, at the time of the offense, was authorized to perform DOT medical examinations. DOT-OIG’s investigation revealed that he routinely signed DOT Medical Examiner’s Certificates and Medical Examination Reports for commercial driver’s license holders without examining the drivers.

DOT-OIG and the Drug Enforcement Administration are investigating this case, with assistance from FMCSA.
