Utah Man Pleads Guilty and Enters Pretrial Diversion Program

On September 18, 2017, Tyson Preece pleaded guilty in U.S. District Court, District of Utah, to one count of making false statements and entered a pretrial diversion program for a period of 12 to 24 months. Upon successful completion of the pretrial diversion, Preece will be permitted to withdraw his plea, and the Government will dismiss the criminal charge against him. If he fails to adhere to the requirements of the pretrial diversion, Preece will be sentenced to imprisonment for a period of 0 to 6 months, in accordance with sentencing guidelines.
