DOT-Approved Drug and Alcohol Screener Pleads Guilty to Falsification of Records

On June 27, 2017, Jo Carol White was convicted by plea in U.S. District Court, Dublin, Georgia, on one count of falsification of records with intent to impede the proper administration of DOT. White will be sentenced at a later date.

This investigation was based upon information DOT-OIG received from the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA), which alleged that White was not conducting proper DOT-required drug testing and medical examinations on applicants for commercial driver’s licenses. The investigation also revealed that White, as well as others, falsified medical examination reports and medical examiner’s certificates.

This case is being investigated with FMCSA and the Drug Enforcement Administration.
