Criminal Information Filed Against DOT-Approved Drug and Alcohol Screener
On May 18, 2017, Jo Carol White was charged by information in U.S. District Court, Dublin Georgia, with falsification of records with intent to impede proper administration of DOT. White signed a plea agreement that was submitted to the court for consideration of acceptance. A sentencing date and hearing are forthcoming.
This investigation was based upon information received from the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA), which alleged that White was not conducting proper DOT-required drug testing and medical examinations on applicants for commercial driver’s licenses (CDL). The investigation revealed that White, along with others, falsified medical examination reports, medical examiner’s certificates, and other paperwork.
This case is being investigated with FMCSA and the Drug Enforcement Administration.
