Inspector General Review of Fiscal Year 2015 Drug Control Funds and Performance Summary Reporting - Federal Aviation Administration
This report presents the results of our review of the Federal Aviation Administration’s Drug Control Obligation Summary Report required by the National Office on Drug Control Policy (ONDCP). During our review, we found one exception in the Report pertaining to the Aviation Safety/Aerospace Medicine unit. FAA reported $16,038,000 for the unit, but the correct amount was $16,308,000, an understatement of $270,000. FAA agreed and attributed the understatement to a transposition error during development of its report. Other than this exception, no information came to our attention that would reverse FAA’s assertions that its fiscal year 2015 Drug Control Obligation Summary and Performance Summary reports complied, in all material respects, with the requirements of ONDCP’s Circular, Accounting of Drug Control Funding and Performance Summary.
