We conducted a quality control review of the audit of the National Transportation Safety Board’s (NTSB) financial statements for fiscal years 2014 and 2013 that Leon Snead & Company, P.C. performed under contract to our office. Snead & Co. issued a clean (unmodified) audit opinion on the financial statements, and identified one significant deficiency in internal control over financial reporting. There were no instances of reportable noncompliance with laws and regulations tested. Our review disclosed no instances in which Snead & Co. did not comply, in all material respects, with auditing standards.
