Truck Driver Pleads Guilty to Fraudulent Hours-of-Service Logs

Ronald Reider, a truck driver for Ontelaunee Transport Services Inc., of Kempton, PA, pleaded guilty in U.S. District Court in Philadelphia to ten counts of falsifying his driver’s daily logbook. Reider made the false entries to hide that fact that he was driving over the maximum number of hours allowed under FMCSA regulations. Along with Reider, six other company drivers, the company dispatcher, and the company were also indicted.
