Former Hazardous Materials Handler Sentenced to 18 Months Imprisonment and Ordered to Pay $211,000 in Restitution
On December 4, 2009, Luis D. Ruiz, a former hazardous materials handler for Bombardier Aerospace (BOMBARDIER) was sentenced in U.S. District Court, Peoria, Illinois, to 18 months imprisonment, 3 years supervised release, and ordered to pay $211,000 in restitution for his involvement in a stolen aircraft parts scheme.
