Worcester Businessman Pleads Guilty to Bribery

On November 21, 2013,  Irfan Dushku, pleaded guilty in U.S. District Court, Worcester, Massachusetts, to bribery of a public official. Dushku attempted to bribe a Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) Safety Inspector in order to avoid negative findings on a safety review of his motor carrier company, Korca Enterprises, Inc.  Dushku paid $1,000 to a FMCSA Safety Inspector to produce a false FMCSA Compliance Review of Korca Enterprises, Inc.

We are conducting the investigation jointly with FMCSA's Massachusetts Division.
